Thomas Earl Albright, of Clarkson,passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center, in Leitchfield.

He was born September 18, 1937 to Virginia and James Thomas Albright in Jefferson County. He lost a three-and-a-half year battle with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma on February 2, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was 75 years old and was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Albright, and one brother, William.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Sue Albright; his mother, Virginia Hawkins, of Louisville; two sisters, Bonnie Heun, of Fairdale, and Delma Taylor, of Louisville; three children also survive, Richard and Robin Albright, of Fairdale, Teresa and James (Pee-Wee) Basham, of Cecilia, and Bridgett and Rob Hughes, of Leitchfield.

Other survivors include his five grandchildren, Brandi and Josh Taylor, of Radcliff, Troy and Lauren Hughes, Kyle and Kelsie Hughes, and Austin Hughes, all of Leitchfield, and Scott and Nikki Albright of Louisville. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Bailey and Kylie Taylor, Sy Campbell Hughes and Ricky Albright.

He retired from Ford Motor Company after 31 years. After retirement, he spent his time on Nolin Lake where he enjoyed fishing.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2012, at the Rogers-Oller Funeral Home, in Clarkson. Mark Claypool will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Leitchfield.

Friends may call from 12 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, continuing at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home.
