Murrell A. Conder, age 79 of Leitchfield passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Helmwood Healthcare in Elizabethtown.

He was born August 14, 1933 in Leitchfield, the son of James A. Conder and Rosie Mae Miller-Conder.

He is survived by his wife, Cleo Conder, of Leitchfield; three daughters, Angela Carrero, of Louisville, Michelle Paul, of Hudson, and Melissa Conder, of Leitchfield; one son, Jason Conder (Lynn), of Leitchfield; four grandchildren, Andrea Carraro, Anthony Carraro (Tina), Jesse Paul (Autumn), and Nicholas Conder; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Paul, and Mackenzie Carraro; four brothers, Norman Conder, Milford Conder, and Danny Conder, all of Leitchfield, and Gary Conder, of Clarkson; two sisters, Fredia Lucas and Arlene Stark, both of Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosie Mae Miller-Conder, one brother, Sherrill Conder, and one sister, Patricia Kiper.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Hazelwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
