Carol Lynn Skaggs, age 56 of Leitchfield passed away, Friday, October 19, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born December 20, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Laverta Meredith Vincent. She was a member of the Leitchfield First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Gregory Skaggs, of Leitchfield; three sons, Matthew Skaggs, of Leitchfield, Andrew Skaggs, of Bowling Green, and Christopher Skaggs, of Leitchfield; her parents, William and Laverta Meredith Vincent, of Leitchfield; one sister, Elizabeth Wathen, of Elizabethtown, and two brothers, Granvil Vincent, of Millwod, and Jacob Vincent, of Bardstown.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Leitchfield with Bro. Tim Minser officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Horntown.

Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. on Monday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield and from 10a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church.
