Cathy Jane Nuckols, age 60, of Leitchfield, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012, at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

She was born on September 11, 1951, in Logan County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William “Nig” and Evelyn Canler.

She was a former manager of Family Dollar Store and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Russellville KY.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Beth Grant and Jennifer Nuckols, both of Leitchfield; one grandson, Mason Milliner; three sisters, Jean and Debbie Canler, and Elizabeth Scarborough, all of Auburn KY five brothers, Bud and Alvin, of Auburn, Eddie and Otha, of Franklin, KY and Bobby Canler, of Elkton KY.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Sonny Canler.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, with Bro. Alan Mudd officiating. Burial was in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
