Dennis Athel Hodge, age 55 of Leitchfield, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born May 1, 1957 in Grayson County to the late Athel and Mittie Opal Cannon Hodge and was married to Brenda Cook Hodge.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; one son, Dillon Hodge; four daughters, Mittie Gail Hinton, Heather Aliane Hodge, Melissa Coogle and Sue Anne Williams.

Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, two brothers, Donnie and David Hodge, and two sisters, Maydean Coomer and Becky Pierce.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dwiane Hodge.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home, with Bro. Charlie Smith officiating. Burial will be in McGrew Cemetery.

Friends may call at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 and after 8 a.m. on Saturday.
