Bobby Keith Whitworth, age 62 of Hudson, KY died Friday, August 31, 2012 at Norton Suburban Hospital.

He was born in Mook, KY on February 6, 1950, the son of the late Harvie Estill and Gladys Marie Robinson Whitworth. He was a self-employed truck driver, special deputy with the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, a member of Hudson Community Church and Hudson Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and watching his granddaughter Maddie play basketball.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Pierce Whitworth.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Pat Whitworth, of Hudson, KY: two children, Dana Whitworth Stewart and Robby Whitworth, both of Leitchfield; three brothers, Darlis Whitworth (Brenda), of Gray, GA; Kenny Whitworth (Lois), of Harned, and Steve Whitworth (Robin), of Leitchfield; five sisters, Wanda Martine Ross (John), of Louisville, Nadine Scott (Gilbert), of Hudson, Darlene Higdon (Tommy), of Benton,KY, Glenda Whobrey (Jeff), of Leitchfield, and Myra Cade (Roy), of Louisville; one granddaughter, Maddie Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at Hudson Community Church on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 1 p.m. with burial in the Hudson Cemetery.
