Reba Alley Booth, age 77, formerly of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her son’s home in Bakersfield California.
She was born February 3, 1935 in Pineville, Ky. Her parents moved to Leitchfield when she was at an early age. She graduated from Leitchfield High School and attended the Western Kentucky School of Business and represented Western at the Mountain Laurel Festival.
She was a successful business woman, running her own pest control company after her husband’s death until she retired.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Booth, of Bakersfield, and Mark Booth, of Los Angeles; five grandchildren, all of California; two sisters, Aldeen Alley Lancaster and Linda Alley Wright, and one brother, Alden “Pudgie” Alley, all of Leitchfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Effie Alley, and her husband, Bill Booth.
Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 25, 2012, in Bakersfield.
