Floats, decorated cars and Santa atop a fire truck helped usher in the holiday season during Leitchfield’s annual Hometown Christmas Parade.

Crowds lined Main Street for the Saturday evening parade Dec. 1, which featured entries festooned in Christmas lights.

Winning the trophy for best decorated float was Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. Grayson County Animal Control took the top award for best decorated vehicle, while Abney Eye Care walked away with the trophy for best walking unit. The Carriage Shop took top honors for best antique vehicle.
