Royce Elliott Wilson, Sr., age 88, of Fisherville, Ky., passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Thompson-Hood VA Center, in Wilmore, KY.

He was born August 15, 1924, the son of the late Owen and Golda Embry Wilson. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of Southeast Christian Church.

He is survived by one son, Royce Wilson, Jr., of Jacksonville, FL., three daughters, Barbara Goulet, of Ramona, CA., Valerie McDonald, of Louisville, KY., and Shay Daugherty of Carmel, IN.

Other survivors include his two brothers, Lee Bannon Wilson, of Caneyville, and Randall Wilson, of LaGrange, KY.; two sisters, Charlene Embry, of Louisville, and Martine Cooper, of Leitchfield, 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Montell Wilson.

Funeral Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home. Pastor Cameron McDonald will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Neafus Cemetery.
