Janice Lawarence was traveling east in a Ford Ranger when she began to feel ill and lost consciousness for several seconds. The Ranger spun across the roadway coming to rest facing a guard rail at the 118 mile marker. Another car, driven by Jessica Logsdon, also traveling east was unable to avoid hitting the truck. Logsdon was momentarily trapped by the dash of her vehicle.
Clarkson Fire Department "rolled up" the dash to release Logsdon.
Grayson County EMS transported Lawarence to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
