A Clarkson man was transported to a Louisville hospital over the Labor Day weekend after his four-wheeler overturned.

According to Wax Assistant Fire Chief Gary Garrison, Air Methods Air Ambulance transported George D. Turner, 59, Clarkson, to University of Louisville Hospital to be treated for head trauma.

Turner had to be removed from under the 2002 Kawasaki Bayou ATV by means of a small trailer hooked to a four-wheeler.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Brad Riley added that Turner was not wearing his helmet at the time of the accident.

Turner suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Department and Grayson County EMS also assisted with the call.

The four-wheeler accident took place on private-wooded acreage off of Wheelers Road.
