Harlie Fulkerson, age 86 of Leitchfield, passed away June 1, 2010, at his residence.

He was born May 1, 1924. He was retired from the Grayson County Board of Education. He was farmer and a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Ina Williams Fulkerson, of Leitchfield, a daughter, Dr. Gay Fulkerson, of Leitchfield, a sister, Velma Fulkerson, of Clarkson, and one niece.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Jay and Ray Fulkerson, two brothers, Alvis and Herbert Fulkerson, two sisters, Eulis and Oris Fulkerson, and his parents, Charlie and Addie Fulkerson.

Funeral services were held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at the Watkins-Oller Funeral Home, with Bro. Delmar Williams and Bro. Harvey Craddock officiating. Burial was in the Little Flock Cemetery.

Condolences may be sent to Baptist Medical and Dental Missions International for the September Medical Missions trip, the Grayson County Humane Society for the development and continuation of the pet therapy program, and Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
