The continuing meth problem is still highly active in the county, the latest arrest occurred on May 27 by Leitchfield Police.

According to Leitchfield Police Detective Gary Troutman, Nathan W. Seibert was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine (facilitation), possession of a controlled substance in the first degree-meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possessing a concealed deadly weapon.

Arresting officer Brandon Brooks explained the arrest was made after he and officer Brandon Cook noticed Seibert's 1997 Toyota Corolla, parked in Fastway #2's parking lot (corner of Highway 62 and South Main, Leitchfield). Brooks mentioned that officers had received numerous complaints of Seibert allegedly manufacturing meth.

After searching the inside of Seibert's car officers found ingredients to make meth.

Other officers who assisted were LPD officer Tim Moutardier, officer Robert Jackson and Kentucky State Police Trooper Kevin Henderson.

Seibert is currently being held on a $10,000 full-cash bond in the Grayson County Detention Center.
