I am the son of Larry and Debbie Perkins of Leitchfield. I have one sister, Angie Perkins Schmitt, who is currently living in China with her husband Kraig and two sons, Will and Daniel. I am married to Buffy Embry of Caneyville. Buffy is the daughter of Walton and Laverne Embry and Jimmy and Rhonda Sipes of Caneyville. Buffy and I have two daughters, Sydney age four and Jordyn two months old. We are members of First Baptist Church in Leitchfield.
I graduated from Grayson County High School in 1993. One of my most memorable moments of high school was being part of the basketball team with Coach Bill Lee that played in the state tournament at Rupp Arena in 1993. After high school, I attended Western Kentucky University where I earned a degree in Finance. Since graduation, I have acquired financial and managerial experience while supervising numerous employees and working with the public.
I would like the opportunity to serve the people of Grayson County as Property Valuation Administrator. I believe my conservative Republican values will help shape the future of Grayson County. I feel the information in the PVA office needs to be updated and made more accessible. Grayson County is one of the few PVA offices in the state without a website, so I plan to develop a website to make the office more efficient. I will give honest, friendly, and efficient service to the people of Grayson County. I want the Grayson County PVA office to be the very best. Your vote and support will be greatly appreciated.
