The Caneyville City Commission approved the next phase of the wastewater plant project during the Monday night meeting.

He listed seven items for consideration.

• plant mechanical aeration assembly

• plant headworks bar screen and grit separator

• plant RAS/WAS pumps assembly

• plant clarifier access catwalk

• plant perimeter safety railing

• plant metal coating

• mobilization and de-mobilization.

Shanklin then asked the commission which item they would like to include or delete. If the commission decides to include the bar screen and grit separator, a resident inspector would have to be hired, as this would be a change in the plant.
