He was born September 5, 1921 in Short Creek, the son of Clarence and Grace Robinson Morgan. He was a World War II and Korean Veteran, a retired firefighter for the Louisville Fire Department, a member of the Falls of Rough VFW # 3852, and the Leitchfield American Legion, and was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Simmons Morgan, and several cousins.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Dermitt Funeral Home, in Leitchfield.
The family will receive friends from noon Saturday until the time of service.
