A traffic stop led Grayson County Sheriff Deputies to an active meth lab where two county residents were arrested.

According to a report from Deputy Bryan Hammons, the driver of the vehicle, Michael Mercer, 45, was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

Further investigation led police to the residence of the passenger, Jamie Saltsman, 33, on McGrew Church Road, where an active meth lab was located and cleaned up.

Kentucky State Troopers Charlie Miller and Seth Lee assisted Hammons in the arrests.

Saltsman was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and is currently lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
