Members decided to support the movie by paying $4,500, which is the same as what the City of Leitchfield and Clarkson government agreed to pay.
Grayson County Judge-Executive Gary Logsdon felt the endeavor was a way for more people to find out about what the area had to offer.
“I think it is great for Grayson County to participate in something like this,” Logsdon said. “We will be able to learn a lot about its history and how prosperous it really is. There is a lot of heritage here. The movie, when it is complete, will be available everywhere.”
Logsdon explained that all fiscal court members were unanimous in agreement that the film project would be good for the community morale.
