Should alcohol be sold in restaurants?

Letter to the Editor,

Please keep a open mind on alcohol in restaurants only. I realize the article of trying hard to stop this from happening and taking it to the pulpit is in progress.

We have had several people injured and killed due to alcohol.

We are a dry county. Saying this, they are getting liquor from somewhere else.

In the bible, it said Jesus turned the water into wine.

People have to be reponsible. Going to a restaurant and having a drink is a freedom of our rights.

And again, I believe it will help generate jobs and help bring in revenue.

You all know how many people are unemployed, as well as myself.

If the people against this have a job and can help me get on in one of our factories that I have been to and called on a dozen of times, then I will back down.

Until then, we need better paying jobs.

Sincerely,

Norma R. Hodges
