Officers are busy yet again with the battle against meth, finding seven portable meth labs in Big Clifty on Monday night.

According to Grayson County Sheriff’s Deputy Jarrod Mudd, he and Kentucky State Police Trooper Kevin Henderson responded to a call about a meth lab that was found at the end of Cemetery Road (a dead-end road) in Big Clifty.

Henderson explained there were pieces of mail also found with the labs, and that is he checking into the situation further. He assured that arrests would be forthcoming in this case.

While on the scene, Mudd noticed some people in the area that were acting suspiciously.

They claimed to be visiting the cemetery. One of the people ended up being arrested on a warrant that the Sheriff’s Department had to serve.

Henderson disposed of the hazardous materials from the meth lab discovery.
