The Kentucky State Police closed a meth lab and arrested four men on Thursday evening, October 1.
Investigation led KSP Trooper Kevin Henderson to obtain a search warrant of 106 Embry Drive, Leitchfield, where an active methamphetamine lab was found.
“The hydrochloric gas fumes were so bad that two of city police officers had to be decontaminated just from clearing the residence when we served the warrant,” said Henderson. “This is the worst I have seen as far as the strongest smelling stuff.”
Terry Walker, 25, of Clarkson. Terry Miller, 48, of Leitchfield, Phillip Preston, 30, of Leitchfield and Ronnie Yeager, 27, of Leitchfield were all arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine first-offense.
All four are currently being held at the Grayson County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
Leitchfield City Police and the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department assisted Henderson in the arrest.
“This was not a large lab, it was a one-step meth lab but it took a lot of people off the streets,” said Henderson. “I cleaned it up and all four were lodged in the Grayson County jail.”
