A Brandenburg man suffered minor injuries on Wednesday around 1 p.m., stemming from a one-vehicle accident on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

According to Kentucky State Police Officer Davy Norris, Joshua Catron, 21, of Brandenburg, was traveling west in his Lexus when his vehicle overturned and came to rest in the eastbound lane. Norris explained that one of Catron’s tires blew out, causing Catron to lose control of his car. The vehicle crossed the median, rolled over and came to rest near the 100-mile marker on the WK Parkway.

Catron was transported by EMS to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for Class C (minor) injuries.

Leitchfield Fire Department assisted EMS with removing Catron from his car, as well as road cleanup from the accident.

Grayson County Sheriff Chief Deputy Tony Willen, Detective Terry Blanton and Caneyville Fire Chief Anthony Clark also responded to the call.
