Around 2 p.m. on Friday Sheriff Detective Terry Blanton was called to the Emergency Room of Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center to investigate after Jackie L Hicks, 43, suffered a gunshot wound in his right leg.
Blanton reported that hicks was shot in the leg and hit in the head with a baseball bat.
The victim reported two men, a black male around six foot tall, weighing around 200 pounds and a white male around six foot one, weighing about 210 with a tear drop tattoo under each eye hit him and shot on Sunbeam Road earlier that day.
Hicks also reported he had been shot at while in Louisville the week before. Through investigation Blanton has determined the two men that shot him were the same ones that shot at him in Louisville.
Blanton is working with the Louisville police on this case and is certain he has a motive in the shooting.
