A single vehicle accident sent two Caneyville residents to the hospital Thursday afternoon, July 9.

According to a report from the Grayson County Sheriff’s office, Keith Neighbors, was traveling west on US 62 when the 1992, Dodge RAM 1500 pickup truck ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Deputy Sheriff Bryan Hammons reported, the E-911 center had received multiple calls informing the center this pickup truck was driving all over the roadway just prior to the accident.

Both the driver and the seven-year-old passenger were transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Neighbors was tested for both drug and alcohol at the hospital and those results are pending, reported Hammons.
