He was born January 30, 1937 in Grayson County, the son of Luke Tarrence and Mary Lee (Mollyhorn) Tarrence.
He is survived by his wife, Neomia; one son, Harold (Betty); one daughter, Vicki Lynn (Jerry); two step-daughters, Charlene (Larry), and Darlene (Jorge); five brothers, Kendall, Glendall, Bill, Ricky and Mike Tarrence; four sisters, Betty Kerr, Tootsie Bratcher, Brenda Priest and Marcel Dockery. Also surviving are three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Dermitt Funeral Home, in Caneyville, with Bro. Bill Logsdon officiating.
Burial will be in the Tarrence Cemetery.
