A trailer full of grain was spilled across two lanes of traffic on Wednesday morning following a two-vehicle accident.

According to a report by the Leitchfield Police Officer Brian Langdon, Deneil Clemons, of Leitchfield, was traveling north on the William Thomason Byway when he began to turn the semi tractor-trailer he was driving east onto Highway 62.

Clemons reported the brakes on the semi locked up as he attempted to make the turn and he lost control as the semi turned onto its side, spilling the grain he was hauling onto a 1997 Chevrolet truck, driven by Julian Lanigan of Clarkson.

Clemons was transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center by a private vehicle for non-life threatening injuries. The other driver was not injured.
