How bout them apples...my plate is running over..

I have too much going on.

Is it possible to have too many projects going on at once?

I think so, but it is not stopping me anytime soon. I need to build a good future for my kids.

This is my answer to that underlying dilemma. I am still working full-time for the Grayson County News-Gazette as a reporter. I am now working part-time as managing editor for Louisville Retro Magazine.

My children’s book, “Candy Bar Caper”, is being turned into a coloring book.

Did I forget to mention, I have jumped on the eco-friendly bandwagon?

I am working with a company, based out of Illinois to help get the word out about their new green product (I feel very passionate about this product. It will save states greatly on everyday costs.)

Lastly, I am still the Relay for Life Public Relations person for the county.

Most of you know, with all this going on, I am first and foremost a mother of two beautiful children.

Savannah is five now. She is involved in a lot of things herself. Karate is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, T-ball is a couple days a week and in our spare time we are supposed to be working on building her modeling career (I have slacked off on that quite a bit).

Addison, who will be two in September, is becoming more mobile everyday.

She does not know what to think of her busy mom and her equally busy older sister.

We seem to all mesh well together though. For anyone who knows me, my kids travel everywhere with me.

I guess it is our way of bonding together as a family. Addison is not as outgoing as Savannah, so this is a great way for her to become more comfortable with her surroundings.

By this time as you are reading this you are thinking I am crazy, right?

I like to think of myself as a very driven person.

My hobbies, as I call them, are what builds my character.

Ever since I was little, my mother and father taught me to work hard for what I believe in.

I have never forgotten what they told me. Yes there are times I take a step back and think, I need a break.

But then I think, what would I ever do with all of that free time if I had it. Probably fill it with more things to do, lol.
