The Leitchfield Police Department is currently investigating two burglaries that occurred between March 1 and March 4.

The perpetrators entered the Grayson County Head Start building on Clinton Street and stole a number of items, including a laptop computer, according to a press release from the LPD.

The perpetrators also entered the Community Action Center on East Market Street, the release read.

Officers believe these burglaries may have been perpretrated by the same individual(s).

In a seperate incident, the LPD is also investigating the theft of a Generac 6500 watt generator from a residence on Sequoia Drive sometime between February 28 and March 1, according to the release.

Detective Kevin Smith said on Thursday that the LPD is currently pursuing leads in these cases.
