Steven M. Puckett, 27, of Caneyville, passed away in Caneyville Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born on March 21st, 1985 in Owensboro, the son of Joseph Michael and Brenda (Boone) Puckett. He was a freight truck driver for UPS. Steven also was a Teamsters Local 89 member.

He is survived by his fiance, Tiffany Hazelwood of Caneyville; his two children, Athen and Kendra Puckett of Falls of Rough; he was raised by his grandparents, the late Stanley Allen and his grandmother Shirley Allen of Falls of Rough; his father, Mike and step-mother Debbie Puckett of Leitchfield; his mother, Brenda Lane of IN; his maternal grandmother, Lucille Fuchs of IN; four sisters, Amanda Puckett, Amber Fulkerson (Chris), Heather Puckett all of Falls of Rough, and Crystal Miles (Eddie) of Hawesville; one brother, Dennis Maxey (Tonya) of Falls of Rough; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9th at 11 a.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the Puckett-Cooper Cemetery in Hancock County.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Friday after 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
