William David Coleman, 85, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, February 2 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

Mr. Coleman was born November 22, 1927 in Butler County to the late Estill Coleman and Maudie Cardwell Coleman. He was a member and Deacon of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and Cassia Lodge 272 and a Shriner. He was also a Korean War Veteran. David was the co-owner of Coleman Brothers Motors, which has been open for the past 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents.

William David is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris Coleman; one daughter, Sherry Hall and husband Eddie, of Morgantown; one son, Michael David Coleman, of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Jacob Hall and wife Shanna, and Hollie Coleman, all of Morgantown; one sister, Myrl Burden, of Morgantown; three brothers, Glendel Coleman and wife Barbara, of Morgantown, Denzil Coleman and wife Christine, of Morgantown, and Mac Coleman and wife Jeanette, of Morgantown.

Funeral Service will be held at Cool Springs General Baptist Church on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 - 9 p.m. and Thursday 8 a.m. until 12p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. He will lie in state from 1 p.m. until time of service at Cool Springs General Baptist Church. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
