Visitor Danny D’Agostino, who is having a church built off of Cave Mill Road, asked the commission to approve the installation of a sewer line on his property.
Utilities Chairman Bob Crawford said the commission would entertain the deal, but would not commit to any costs being able to obtain the easement.
There is already a lift station at Tara Woods Subdivision. The commission’s plan is to extend that line across the street to the new property.
D’Agostino has qualified contractors who will furnish the materials and install the line. All the commission would have to do is pay to run the sewer across the road, and also be responsible for acquiring an easement.
He also asked the commission to waive the hook up fee. The commission agreed.
The property is located just past the city limits on Cave Mill Road.

City Clerk and Treasurer Erin Embry explained the city has had a lot of problems with the machine in the past.
The new equipment will be purchased through Pitney Bowes Supplies.
• The city utilities is taking applications for a full-time utilities superintendent.
Resumes are being taken at Leitchfield City Hall until May.
The previous superintendent, Eddie Miller, has been retired for sometime, but has been working part-time until the position is been filled.
