Jeanne Marcine Surgenor, 87, of Elizabethtown, passed away January 21, 2013 at her home.

She was born on November 16, 1925 to the late Charles Ruben Jones and Minnie Catherine Johnson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leon Surgenor; two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her five loving children, Charles Michael Surgenor, Patricia Ann Roederer and her husband, Donald, David Lee Surgenor, Donna Marie Mattingly and Dennis Paul Surgenor and his wife, Bobbi; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces.

A celebration of her life will be conducted Saturday January 26, 2013 at noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, in Louisville, with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10-12 at the funeral home.
