Harry Alexander Barclay, age 79 of Clarkson, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was born August 30, 1933 in Franklin County, Illinois, the son of William and Geneva Ebbs Barclay. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a process engineer for Shell Chemical, and a member of the American Legion Post 81.

Survivors include, one son, Duane Barcaly, Sr. (Christie), of Clarkson; one daughter, Robbin Anderson (Joe), of Prairieville, LA; five sisters, Marge Swaringen, of Wright City, MO, Nita Walker, of Denham Springs, LA, Kitty Loeh, of Villa Grove, IL, Susie Pantke, of Commerce TWP, MI, and Janet Carillo, of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Jim Barclay, of Christopher, IL, and Dave Barcla,y of Richland, MT; eight grandchildren, eleven grea- grandchildren, and seven dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Geneva Ebbs Barclay, his wife, Gwenith Barclay, three sons, Eric, Daniel, and Bryan Sr. Barclay, one daughter, Pamela Barclay, and two brothers, Bill “Smokey” and Dale Barclay.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery.
