Ambers Joe “A.J.” Sutton, age 68, of Big Clifty, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 9, 1944, in Hardin County, Ky., the son of the late Evin Roscoe and Ollie Cundiff Sutton.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandy Burden and Rose Mercer, both of Leitchfield; two sisters, Edna Ray of Eastview and Margie Dalton of Elizabethtown; a brother, Howard Sutton of Hudson; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Louie Leon Sutton and James Felix Sutton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson, with Bro. Jimmy Sutton officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, and from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
