Dorothy Green Logsdon Kesterson, age 88, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012, at the Rockford Manor Nursing Facility, in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born on February 20, 1924 in Adair County, KY, the daughter of the late Anderson and Zonie Blackley Green.
She was a housewife and a member of the Antioch General Baptist Church.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Russell, Kevin and Dewayne Logsdon, and nine great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Logsdon; three step-children, Shirley Knight, Roy and Troy Kesterson; five step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nephews and nieces.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Hubert Logsdon, the father of her children, and Glen Kesterson, two sons, Arnold Lee and Larry Logsdon, and three infant sons, two brothers, Dennis and Norman Green, and two sisters, Flossie Gilbert and Marcella Duncan.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wilford Logsdon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Logsdon Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12-8 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
