Cecil Daniel Ramsey, age 78 of Leitchfield passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at his residence.
He was born September 30, 1934 in Leitchfield, the son of Esthus and Cora Leach Ramsey.
He was a devoted husband to his wife of 55 years, Anna Rhea Lucas Ramsey, a loving father to his son, Danny and his wife, Sheila Ramsey, and grandfather of Kylie and Eli Ramsey.
He was a loyal brother to Ray Ramsey and his wife Cuba , and Albert Ramsey. He was a loving brother-in-law to Tom and Sandy Lucas, Russell and Elaine Lucas, Charles and Annetta Lucas, Roger and Kenny Lucas, Tina Baker, Lois and David Carman. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Ramsey.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2012, at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Rev. Allen Self officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
