Mary Rose Mudd, 75, of Powderly, KY passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY.

She was born on August 4, 1936 in Grayson County, the daughter of Alva and Emily Young. She was a housewife and mother of four children.

She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Jernigan (Dale), of Greenville, and Melody Landrum (David); her two sons, Jessie Mudd (Teresa), and Jason Mudd, all of Powderly; two sisters, Lissa Alls of Owensboro, and Virginia Gorrell, of Versailles; a brother, Jess Young, of Sturgis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Mudd, and three brothers, Crawford, Jim, and Paul Young.

There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Troy Slinker will be officiating.
