Everett Joseph Markwell, age 40, of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Breckinridge County.

He was born on May 14, 1972, in Bartow, Florida, the son of Everett L. Markwell and the late Betty Willis.

He was employed as a factory worker at DSSA in Beaver Dam, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Stacey S. Markwell, of Leitchfield; two daughters, Shawntina Smith, of Clarkson, and Deanya Melvin, of Leitchfield; one son, Waylon Markwell, of Louisville; two sisters, Lynn Markwell, of Montana, and Misty Callahan (Kevin), of Morehead, KY; one brother, Faron Willis (Kathy), of Leitchfield;p several nieces and nephews and nine step-grandchildren also survive.

Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by a step-father, Gene Willis.

Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
