James Robert Mattingly, age 53 of Sarasota, Flori9da, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
James was born November 3, 1958 in Leitchfield, the son of the late Thomas and Jolene Van Meter Mattingly.
He is survived by three sisters, Lana Russell (James), Linda Kinkadem (Bobby), and Sherry Rudnick (Tim), and one brother, Royce Mattingly, of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive, alonmg with James’ cats, Blude and Oreo.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Stevenson.
The Good Earth Crematoria, in Sarasota was in chargeof arrangements. Following his wishes, James’ ashes will be scattered at seas.
