Faye Wright, of Leitchfield, went to the Lord on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
She was born February 8, 1934 in Indiana, and was married to J. Lenn Wright on June 25, 1955.
Her family and Friends were Faye’s passion and delight. She also enjoyed entertaining, gardening, antiquing, cooking and playing dominoes and card games with family and friends.
She treasured her role as a homemaker for her family. She also worked for Fort Wayne National Bank, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. for nine years before retiring. She and her husband moved to Leitchfield in 1994 and became active members of the St. Joseph Catholic Church’s Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lenn; a sister, Jeanne Champion; a sister-in-law, Ruth Helen Wright; five children, Mary Hallgren (Jeff), of Johnson Creek, Wi., Kathryn Wright, of Winter Park, Co., Tammy Wright, of Chillicothe, Oh., Elizabeth fair (Roger), of Albion, In., and Greg Wright, of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren, Nathan, Joel, Gretchen, Molly, Eric, Jill, Libby, Jacob, John, Madison, Mackenzie and Noah; seven great-grandchildren, Colin, Paige, Morgan, Madeline, Archer, Ryker and Hannah; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn Haynes Moseby and Norman Haynes, and her step-father, Ralph Moseby.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Leitchfield, with Rev. Randy Howard officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 24 from 4-7 p.m. at the Dermitt Funeral Home, in Leitchfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Altar Society, or Cemetery Fund at St. Joseph’s.
