The Cougars tennis teams had a pair of matches last week, facing both Frederick Fraize, of Cloverport, and Owensboro Catholic on the home Cougar Courts.

On Wednesday, the boys and girls teams both picked up wins over Cloverport, the girls shutting out the Lady Aces 9-0 and the boys taking a 7-2 decision.

On Thursday, the girls won their match against Catholic 8-1, while the boys were drubbed 9-0 by the defending 3rd Region champions.

The Lady Cougars stand at 11-4 for the season, while the Cougars are 9-5.
