The Lady Cougar tennis team picked up a huge win last Monday as they defeated the Daviess County Lady Panthers 5-4 at the Cougar tennis courts.

The Cougar boys dropped their match against the Panthers 3-6.

It was a complete turnaround from the earlier match between these two regional rivals. In their earlier meeting at the end of March in Owensboro, the boys won their match 5-4, while the girls lost big, 1-8.

In the earlier meeting, the Lady Panthers took five of the six singles matches and won all three doubles matches. This time around, the Lady Cougars split the six singles meetings and took two of three doubles to take the match.

The Lady Cougars are now 9-4 on the season, while the boys are 8-4.
