The Caneyville City Commission recently honored Lahoma Majors with a surprise dinner at Rough River State Park. Mrs. Majors was presented a plaque and thanked for her lifetime of service to the City of Caneyville. At the young age of 16, she began working for the city on a volunteer basis. She recently stepped down as City Treasurer but continues to be a valuable asset with her wealth of knowledge and information she has accumulated through the years."
