Carolyn Sue Probus, age 52, of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011, in Louisville.

She was born on November 21, 1959, in Grayson County, the daughter of Charles E. and Mary Moutardier Mercer.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Probus, of Leitchfield; two daughters, Julia Foreman and Leslie Shartzer (Tony), of Leitchfield; one son, Brian Ward (Erika), of Hardinsburg; her father and mother, Charles E. and Mary Mercer, of Leitchfield; one step-son, Julian Christopher Probus (Maria), of Leitchfield; one sister, Deborah Bush, of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Celeste Foreman, Kristen Shartzer, and Elijah Ward; two step-grandchildren, Savannah, and Dustin Probus.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011, at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. Friday until time of service.
