She was born on September 16, 1930, in Muhlenberg County, Ky., the daughter of Bernice and Frances Mackey Geary.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond L. Swift of Caneyville; two daughters, Judie Farris of Ready and Freda Lindsey of Caneyville; one brother, Mack Geary Jr. of Central City, Ky. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Christie Hayes of Roundhill, Ky., Spc. Raymond Smith of Ft. Bliss, Texas, Timmy Farris, Jennifer Parks, and Ashley Lindsey, all of Caneyville; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 6, 2008 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, with Bro. Wavie Pierce officiating.
Burial was in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.
