Its official, after three years of making the same pay, Clarkson City Commissioners will receive a raise for work they do in the city.

The second reading of the ordinance, to raise compensation pay from $80 per month to $100, was unanimously passed during the April 14 meeting.

City Clerk and Treasurer Alicia Hayes said, during a March meeting, the current compensation rate has not been changed since 2005.
