A thief broke into the Midway Pharmacy in Caneyville on Wednesday night and stole several prescription medications.

“We received a call from the alarm company saying someone broke into the pharmacy,” said Caneyville Police Chief Anthony Clark. “The burglars targeted the prescription medication.”

Access to the pharmacy was gained when the suspect broke out the bottom half of the door, added Clark

Police are currently looking for one suspect but have been unable to view the video tape which caught the individual breaking into the store.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 270-879-9701.
