He was born November 10, 1956 in Hart County, Ky., the son of Johnny and Hattie Sweet.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Sweet of Leitchfield; one sister, Anna Alvey of Hart County, one sister-in-law, Terrilea Lasley of Leitchfield; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Hattie Sweet; and his brother, Billy Joe Alvey.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield.
Burial was in the Center Point Cemetery in Hart County.
