Incliment weather is being blamed as the cause of a fatal accident that occurred early Wednesday morning.

According to a report from Kentucky State Police Trooper Seth Lee, Charles Hutchins, 23, of Hopkinsville, KY, was driving westbound near the 98 mile marker of the Western Kentucky Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle on the icy roadway.

The vehicle he was driving overturned and two rear passengers were ejected from the automobile.

Jennifer Crow, 23, of Smryna, Georgia and Hailey Scott, 19, of Muldraugh, KY, were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Grayson County Corner.

Neither passenger was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, reported Lee.By Theresa Armstrong
