A hunter discovered a boxed methamphetamine lab on Miller's Cemetery Road in Caneyville on Sunday afternoon.
“We were called to the area on Sunday afternoon around 1 p.m. after a hunter found the meth lab,” reported Sheriff Rick Clemons.
“All the components were there to manufacture meth but it was not operational at that time,” said deputy Toney Willen. “This was not a dump site. A dump site is when there are the remains of a lab. This one had all the ingredients of a meth lab.”
The Greater Hardin County Task Force cleaned up and disposed of the lab, added Clemons.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
“The meth production in Grayson County continues to be a major focus of the sheriff's department,” said Clemons.
State police also assisted with the discovery.
